Nenáročná túra kolem hřmícího vodopádu Treffling - snad nejpůsobivějšího vodopádu v Přírodním parku Ötscher-Tormäuer.
Popis
Je to již více než 110 let, co spolek Scheibbser Gebirgsverein vybudoval jednu z nejkrásnějších vodopádových stezek v Dolním Rakousku. Dnes se podél nejvyššího vodopádu v zemi může projít každý turista. Trefflingbach zde kaskádovitě padá do výšky 120 metrů do řeky Erlauf - jedinečný zážitek je na začátku krásné rodinné túry zaručen.
Túra toho však nabízí mnohem více: Toreck, pozoruhodná 100 metrů dlouhá soutěska a nejužší místo Erlaufu v Tormäuern. Romantický les v soutěsce podél řeky. Mostní konstrukce, které stojí za vidění. Čertův kostel, vyhloubená skalní jehla s legendární minulostí. Dřevorubecké muzeum v Trübenbachu a geologická naučná stezka, kterou kdysi podél panoramatické cesty vytyčil Alexander Tollmann.

Popis trasy Sulzbichl - Trefflingfall - Toreck - Trübenbach
From the Sulzbichl entrance, you hike for about half an hour towards the impressive natural wonder Trefflingfall (waterfall height approx. 110 m, good water flow all year round). The well-secured hiking trail follows the course of the water. Further on towards Trübenbach, past the "Devil's Church", a pyramid-shaped hollowed rock tower. From Trübenbach, you return on foot via the panoramic road, along the geological educational trail, back to the starting point Sulzbichl or Puchenstuben.

A paid parking lot is located directly at the Trefflingfall hut.
The revenues from parking management benefit the care of the nature park. (Coin payment only at the parking meter)
Public access with the Mariazellerbahn is possible up to Puchenstuben station.

The hike starts directly at the adventure village Sulzbichl. The 7 stilt houses with sleeping places for up to 36 people are ideal for an adventurous holiday with the family or even larger groups. The village lies directly on the cool mountain stream. There is also a barbecue area!
