Ať už jedete ze St. Pöltenu nebo z Mariazell, prohlídka začíná jízdou po historickém schodišti Himmelstreppe do Gösingu. Stezka začíná přímo pod Alpenhotelem Gösing (dočasně uzavřen) a vede dolů kouzelným lesem do Erlaufboden. Po krátkém úseku podél cesty začíná impozantní Hintere Tormäuer - soutěska tvořená tyrkysově modrým Erlaufem. Když budete pokračovat podél řeky, po necelé hodině dorazíte k elektrárně Wienerbruck. Zajížďka k elektrárně se rozhodně vyplatí! S vodopádem Lassing, který je stále na dohled a na doslech, musíte překonat asi 170 výškových metrů po bývalých dřevařských stezkách a přes skalní jeskyně, až dorazíte k vodní nádrži Wienebruck, kde se můžete zastavit na občerstvení v hostinci Seegasthaus.

Take the Mariazellerbahn to Gösing and then follow the path below the Alpenhotel Gösing (temporarily closed) to Erlaufboden (about 2 kilometers and 340 m downhill). The last section runs along a paved road to the entrance of the Erlaufboden nature park. Afterwards, always follow the hiking trail along the Erlauf river towards the Wienerbruck power plant (about 1.5 hours). At the crossing, do not go into the Ötschergräben but go left over the bridge to the power plant and then follow the path uphill next to the power plant towards Wienerbruck (about 1 hour and 220 m).
