Výchozím bodem této malebně působivé túry je základna Ötscher ve Wienerbrucku, která je také ideálním místem pro zastávku na občerstvení před nebo po túře. Cesta veřejnou železnicí Mariazell je díky blízké zastávce ve Wienerbrucku obzvláště výhodná.
Po krátkém úseku podél vodní nádrže Wienerbruck pokračuje trasa po pěšinách a lesních cestách odlehlým lesem, než dojde k silnici směrem na Erlaufboden. Hintere Tormäuer začínají u vstupu do přírodního parku Erlaufboden - impozantní soutěska s vysokými rozeklanými skalními stěnami, které vytvořily vody Erlaufu. Kolem tajemného vchodu do jeskyně Gamsluckenhöhle, doprovázeného tyrkysově modrou řekou, pronikáte stále hlouběji do působivé, nedotčené přírody až k elektrárně Wienerbruck. Zajížďka do turbínové haly výstavní elektrárny se rozhodně vyplatí! Při stoupání po stezce, kdy máte vodopády Lassing stále na dohled, můžete načerpat poslední zásoby energie, než se vrátíte na základnu Ötscher a dobijete baterky v hostinci Seegasthaus.

The starting point is the Ötscher-Basis in Wienerbruck, then along the Wienerbruck reservoir, at the dam continue on the right road until a left turn into the forest towards Annaberg/Reith. Follow the path to Steinwandhof, then turn left and always stay on the marked path towards Erlaufboden until you reach an asphalt road. Go downhill on this road to the nature park entrance Erlaufboden. Follow the path along the Erlauf river to the Wienerbruck power plant. Take the steep path uphill on the left of the power plant towards Wienerbruck.
