Železniční turistická stezka vede po celé trase Mariazellské dráhy ze St. Pöltenu do Mariazell. Jeden z nejkrásnějších úseků vede přes Přírodní park Ötscher-Tormäuer. Doporučujeme veřejnou cestu po mariazellské železnici do stanice Puchenstuben. Z Puchenstubenu vede túra zpočátku směrem k Turmkogelu po štěrkových cestách nebo široké stezce. Není proto problém vzít s sebou kočárek! Nejvyššího bodu se dosáhne u Wegscheidhäusel a stezka směřuje dolů do Gösingu.

Výlet pak pokračuje z kopce do Annaberg-Reith a podél Wienerbrucké přehrady k základně Ötscher ve Wienerbrucku. Tam vás Seegasthaus zve k posezení a odpočinku před zpáteční cestou po železnici Mariazell do Puchenstubenu.

At the Puchenstuben station, start uphill towards the town center and Turmkogel. From the hairpin bend at the edge of the town, follow a forest road always close to the tracks of the Mariazellerbahn to Brandeben with the Turmkogel mountain lodge (1108 m) and over the Wegscheidhäusel to Obergösing. After 1 km walk along the road towards Wastl by the forest on the "old road" (forest trail) to Annakreuz and downhill to Annaberg-Reith (Protestant church). From Annaberg-Reith, follow the reservoir circular hiking trail along the Wienerbruck reservoir to the Ötscher Base in Wienerbruck.
