The Himmelstreppe (“stairway to heaven”) fleet is made up of nine modern low-floor units. They stand out with their modern interiors, full air conditioning and passenger information system. Large doors, comfy seats and plug sockets at every group of seats make travel on the Himmelstreppe a pleasant experience.
Aboard the Himmelstreppe you receive personal service from our attendants. There are numerous destinations well worth exploring along the route, as well as during summer and winter.
In December, taking a trip with the Himmelstreppe railcar up to the Advent markets in the region is a one-of-a-kind experience.
You can sit back in comfort as the hiking trains transport you through the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. A combi ticket covers both travel and entry to the Nature Park.
